By Beacon Staff

Bigfork has a new activities director and boys basketball coach.

Sam Tudor has been named the high school boys basketball coach and will replace Josh Downey, who is stepping down after one year as coach and activities director.

David Creamer has been named activities coordinator for both the middle school and high school.

Tudor teaches sophomore English at the high school and has 14 years experience coaching prep athletics. At Bigfork, he has served as junior varsity basketball coach and varsity assistant under former head coach Kurt Paulson. He has had other coaching stints in Lewistown, Havre, Great Falls and Seeley Lake.

Creamer is a 1995 graduate of Bigfork High School and 2001 graduate of Montana State University, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in history. He is currently the development manager for Intermountain in Kalispell. Creamer has been an active member of Bigfork sports, serving as an assistant coach for the high school track team, volunteering with basketball, and recording stats for the football team. He has also spearheaded the sports programs’ social networking efforts.

Downey was named the head basketball coach at Whitefish High School in May.
