The Lodge at Whitefish Lake
If heights aren’t your thing, then the ground level views from the back deck at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake are a perfect substitute, and it comes with the added bonus of a cool breeze coming off the lake. The Boat Club Lounge and Tiki Bar & Grill offer the only lakefront dining in Whitefish and the fare is sure to please. On June 27 and 28, the deck will have some added entertainment with the Whitefish Woody Weekend when more than 30 wooden boat owners will parade their vintage vessels past the deck throughout the weekend. 1380 Wisconsin Ave, Whitefish.
Many Glacier Hotel
While the view from your backyard deck may be nice, it has nothing on the sights that can be taken in on the Many Glacier Hotel deck on the shores of Swiftcurrent Lake on the east side of Glacier National Park. The Great Northern Railway began construction of the hotel in 1914 and it was completed in 1915. One of the highlights is the spacious deck where you can sit and view the nearby mountain peaks.
