Destruction on Fifth Street

7:31 a.m. An employee of a Kalispell hotel reported that a guest acted out “abusively” after they were told they would not receive their $1 refund.

7:40 a.m. Several vehicle windows were smashed in with a hammer, tires were slashed, and numerous mailboxes were found damaged on Fifth Street West.

10:40 a.m. A man selling firewood in a Kalispell parking lot reported that someone who purchased the wood gave him two checks with two different names. He suspects the checks are stolen.

10:42 a.m. Checkbooks were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Batavia Lane.

11:47 a.m. A resident on Foothill Road reported that the neighbor’s dogs were harassing him again.

12:23 p.m. A Lakeside resident reported two men who constantly speed up and down Stoner Creek Road on their motorcycles.

2:57 p.m. Reportedly, a woman in an Evergreen parking lot kicked a man numerous times.

4:24 p.m. A black Lab with a red color was seen running down Meridian Road.

9:01 p.m. Someone riding a motorcycle without a headlight reportedly sped through an intersection on Fifth Avenue West without stopping.

11:37 p.m. A man was seen standing in the westbound lane of Highway 2 West. The caller was worried that he might get hit.
