Distressed Cats

8:53 a.m. A cat has been in a tree for two days. The caller hoped that an animal warden would climb up the tree and save it.

10:21 a.m. A Kalispell man reported that his girlfriend stole his cell phone.

11:52 a.m. A frustrated Kila resident reported that his neighbor’s pit bulls were on the loose and chasing his horses.

2:45 p.m. A bald man in a flowery shirt was caught stealing some CDs from an Evergreen store. He was asked never to return.

3:25 p.m. Someone called in to talk about stray cats that hang around the dump in Lakeside.

3:26 p.m. An “animated” man protested a Canadian flag flying outside of a Bigfork business and made numerous employees uncomfortable.

3:56 p.m. A extremely angry man called 911 to report that a local fabric store refused to refund him cash for the items he purchased on his credit card.

8:24 p.m. A woman on Bernard Road reported that her daughter came into her home and stole her laptop, iPod, TV and DVD player.

11:47 p.m. A highly intoxicated man called from Highway 35 in Kalispell to report that people keep selling drugs to his girlfriend. He does not know who they are or where to find them.
