10-Year-Old Boy Hit by Fireworks in Stable Condition
Kalispell boy airlifted to a Spokane hospital after being hit in the face by fireworks
Officials say a 10-year-old Kalispell boy is in stable condition after he was struck in the face by fireworks.

Caleb Kingery was sitting with his mother on the side of U.S. Highway 2 watching fireworks Wednesday night.

Monica Kingery says she heard a loud noise, looked over and saw her son crouching down. He told her that he could not see and did not know what happened.

They walked to the fire department and was transported to North Valley Hospital, where his condition worsened. Caleb was airlifted to a Spokane hospital.

Caleb suffered two fractured orbitals, a broken nose and a fracture in the plate between his brain and nasal cavity.

It is unknown what hit Caleb or where it came from.

@djtabish You may have $10, but I have the fleeting hope that I'll be a millionaire without having to do any work for it. #lazy
