A Hike For Our Fallen Heroes
Hike for Heroes fundraiser is July 14 at Whitefish Mountain Resort
Need an excuse to get out and hike on a sunny Saturday afternoon? Here's a great one: the Hike for Heroes fundraiser is Saturday, July 14 at Whitefish Mountain Resort. This family friendly four-mile hike is one of two in the state this summer. The event supports the organization Montana Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS), which raises money for surviving families of Montana law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Bozeman hosted a similar event on July 7.

Those interested can register at the Base Lodge between 8 a.m. and noon. Water will be provided and lunch will be served at noon. Registration is $25 and includes a T-shirt and lunch. For more information visit www.hike-for-heroes.org, or call 871-5705.

No, I don't want to read mini-biographies of contributors to your magazine in the front of the book.

@djtabish You may have $10, but I have the fleeting hope that I'll be a millionaire without having to do any work for it. #lazy
