A Trashy Altercation and Some Missing Pants

1:16 a.m. Several youths tossed rocks into a yard on Nicholson Drive, thoroughly irritating the homeowner. Authorities responded and encouraged the kids to scram.

2:21 a.m. A male subject was seen chasing after a screaming female individual in Whitefish. The issue was handled by the Whitefish Police Department.

3:22 a.m. Someone on O’Brien Avenue in Whitefish claims that a neighbor is being mean to the reporting party’s dog. Authorities advised the individual and assisted in resolving the issue.

3:31 a.m. A man on a motorcycle repeatedly pulled into a Martin City motel, evidently in a very suspicious manner. The man was found to be merely meeting another individual on the premises.

10:17 a.m. Three golden retrievers chased a cat on Pheasant Drive. The dogs and their owner received a verbal warning.

11:46 a.m. Someone drove through a field of unharvested hay on Riverside Road.

11:52 a.m. Brush in the back of a Whitefish truck caught fire but was quickly extinguished.

1:23 p.m. A garage door was spray-painted an orange hue on Bowman Drive.

1:31 p.m. Someone was shooting unsafely on Hodgson Road.

2:41 p.m. One person threatened to harm another on South Cedar Drive. The recipient of the threats was counseled and will be taking preventative action.

3:59 p.m. A dog was shot through the shoulder on Anderson Lane, evidently because he was about to kill some chickens. The dog was euthanized due to the extremity of his injuries.

5:16 p.m. A female resident of Martin City claims that another woman prevented her from loading garbage to take to the dump. The subject’s motivation for doing so is unknown.

5:41 p.m. Five boys on bicycles threatened to beat up other kids near Lion Lake. Authorities responded and the delinquents dispersed.

7:27 p.m. Two young boys rode their bikes on private property in Lakeside.

7:29 p.m. Authorities answered questions regarding chicken ordinances on Helena Flats Road.

8:43 p.m. A boat on Flathead Lake evidently struck a submerged object, causing the boat to spin in circles. The boaters found assistance before authorities arrived.

9:39 p.m. Several individuals were heard yelling and cussing in a vehicle on South Many Lakes Drive. The conflict was resolved before authorities arrived.

12:58 a.m. A pants-less female subject was discovered near a vehicle parked on Lower Valley Road. Authorities invited the woman to pull up her trousers and move along.

3:59 a.m. Someone stole a 30-pack of inexpensive beer from a convenience store on Reserve Drive.
