11:33 a.m. A Columbia Falls man shot himself in the foot. He was only willing to provide a vague account of the events leading up to the accident.

12:26 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman went to the hospital after she had been attacked and bitten by her vicious cat.

2:01 p.m. Someone on East Reserve Drive reported that about 45 gallons of gas was siphoned out of their vehicles.

2:36 p.m. The owner of a cell phone repair shop found someone’s phone in a mud puddle and repaired it with the intention of finding the owner and returning it, for money. The repair man was advised that the owner of the cell phone was under no obligation to pay for unauthorized repairs and the phone was returned.

2:48 p.m. A man called 911 to report that the drivers of a dark BMW and a white Audi were racing at speeds over 100 miles per hour down Highway 93 North.

3:02 p.m. A mailbox was destroyed on Lone Coyote Trail.

3:43 p.m. Reportedly, a dog on Crestview Drive is let loose every day to run throughout the neighborhood and “do its business” in any yard but its own.

4:09 p.m. Two boys, one dressed in shorts and sandals with black socks and the other in camouflage, reportedly stole a machete from a store in Evergreen.

4:22 p.m. Someone called 911 to report that a woman in a Subaru was reading text messages and e-mails while driving erratically down Highway 2 West. She claimed that she was unable to drive close enough to get a license plate number for fear of wrecking her vehicle.

4:39 p.m. A Hungry Horse woman reported that she was assaulted by her daughter.

5:28 p.m. Someone called in to talk about an intoxicated bicyclist on Highway 35 in Kalispell.

5:52 p.m. A complaint was made about the reckless driving of a woman on Reserve Drive who was fixing her hair in the rearview mirror.
