Arlee Teen Arrested in Fatal Stabbing
A man was slain and two other people were hospitalized
ARLEE – Authorities say an Arlee teenager has been arrested after a man was slain and two other people were hospitalized with stab wounds.
Lake County Undersheriff Dan Yonkin did not release the name of the 16-year-old boy, who was charged with deliberate homicide after the stabbings in an Arlee home early Monday.
Yonkin also said he could not release the name of the victim, who was described as a man in his early 50s, pending notification of his relatives.
Another man was treated and released for stab wounds but a woman remained hospitalized and was in stable condition.
Yonking declined to comment on a motive or to say how the boy knows the victims.
The teen is being held at the Missoula County Detention Facility.
