Authorities are looking for a man who robbed a Lakeside bank and escaped on a motorcycle.
The Flathead County Sheriff’s office says the man entered Glacier Bank on U.S. Highway 93 at about 4 p.m. Wednesday and demanded cash while displaying a weapon. Undersheriff Pete Wingert declined to say what type of weapon was used or how much money was stolen. No one was injured in the robbery.
The man is described as between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-4, in his 50s with a gray mustache. He was wearing a motorcycle helmet when he robbed the bank, as well as glasses, dark-colored jeans and white tennis shoes with dark trim.
Wingert says a customer watched the man flee on a white Yamaha 185cc motorcycle emblazoned with lime green lettering. The Daily Inter Lake in Kalispell reports that Wednesday’s bank robbery was the second in the area in fewer than two months by a helmeted robber.
