Flathead Valley Police Blotter
Bad Behavior
Flathead County Sheriff's and Kalispell Police Reports
Monday 6/25

8:03 a.m. During the night, a mailbox on Creston Road blew up.

8:34 a.m. Two loose dogs in Whitefish were accused of chasing both deer and birds.

9:48 a.m. Reportedly, kids blocked a Lakeside road off with a rope and threw an egg at a woman’s car.

10:09 a.m. A Gunsight Loop resident complained that his neighbor yelled at his dogs.

12:10 p.m. Another mailbox, this one on Many Lakes Drive, exploded.

3:07 p.m. According to a woman on Forest Hill Village, the neighbor’s little bulldog ran on to her property and snapped at her dog.

3:21 p.m. A brown Chihuahua weighing approximately ten pounds lost its way home. Law enforcement was warned that the animal will bite.

3:44 p.m. A man called 911 from an Evergreen shop to report that he just had his oil changed but the “computer in his car” tells him that it had not been done.

4:56 p.m. A short, balding man wearing cut-off pants was arrested after concealing scissors, punching a door, and acting aggressively at a local hospital.

5:05 p.m. A resident on Pleasant Lane called 911 and complained that the neighbor’s sprinkler was spraying their window and they refused to move it.

5:59 p.m. Two black Labs were seen running southbound on the bypass.

6:18 p.m. An Evergreen man complained that his mom came over and beat up his girlfriend.

7:42 p.m. A Kalispell man called in to advise law enforcement that his neighbor’s four dogs were in his yard and he was prepared to shoot all of them. He calmed down and admitted that he was just really irritated.

8:12 p.m. A woman was seen huffing aerosol cans in an Evergreen parking lot.

8:13 p.m. A woman called 911 from Hungry Horse after a woman jumped out of a car that had stopped in the middle of the road, ran around then jumped back in. The caller assumed that the passengers of that vehicle were most likely intoxicated.

9:17 p.m. A Smith Lake Road resident reported that a rambunctious man on a 4-wheeler showed up and yelled at him, accusing him of being from out of state. The caller suspected that the man was “casing” his residence.

10:37 p.m. A man on Lodgepole Road in Whitefish accused his neighbor of stealing his dog and keeping it in his garage. He was incorrect in his assumption.

4:11 a.m. A newspaper delivery driver reportedly chased two kids who had tied a rope across the Highway in Lakeside. Reportedly, they are still at large.
