Bankruptcy Trustee: Vann’s Has Two Potential Buyers
Vann's has until the end of the month to reach an agreement
MISSOULA – A bankruptcy trustee says Vann's Inc., has two potential buyers as it faces a deadline to sell out or liquidate its inventory and close its electronics and appliance stores.

Missoula attorney Dick Samson told KGVO-AM on Tuesday that two separate entities are looking at the business and he's optimistic that there will be a deal.

Vann's CEO Jerry McConnell announced on Oct. 1 that a Bozeman businessman was interested in the company, which has stores in Missoula, Kalispell, Hamilton, Bozeman and Billings and a warehouse in Lolo. Samson declined to release any information on the second potential buyer.

McConnell has said if a purchase goes through, it could save 100 of the company's 150 jobs.

Vann's has until the end of the month to reach an agreement that will satisfy the creditors.
