Barth, Halliburton Honored by Bobcats
Montana State recently tabbed another standout from the valley
Montana State head football coach Rob Ash named Columbia Falls’ Austin Barth the offensive scout player of the year and Kalispell’s Luke Halliburton the top defensive team member.
Barth, a 6-foot-5 quarterback, was a freshman on last year’s Bobcats. He was recruited after a standout career at Columbia Falls.
Halliburton, a 6-0 defensive lineman, was also a freshman. He was an all-state player at Glacier High.
Montana State recently tabbed another standout from the valley. Glacier’s Devin Jeffries, a 6-2 defensive lineman, verbally committed to play for the Bobcats next fall. Jeffries was named Class AA defensive MVP and first team all-state defensive end on last season’s state semifinal Glacier team.
