BIGFORK – Flathead County fire investigators are looking for the cause of an early morning fire Wednesday that burned down the old Echo Lake Store near Bigfork.
No one was injured, but the building was a total loss.
The Bigfork Fire chief said they didn't send anyone inside because the building was already engulfed when they arrived at 2:30 a.m.
The building was more than a century old. It no longer housed a store and was operating as a game processing facility.
