MISSOULA – A 49-year-old Bigfork man convicted of sexual exploitation of children and receipt of child pornography has been sentenced to 110 years in prison.
Ralph Fox was found guilty following a one-day trial and was sentenced last week by U.S. District Judge Donald Molloy of Missoula.
Prosecutors say a woman contacted the Flathead County sheriff's office in January 2007 to report that Fox had sexually abused her three daughters. Investigators say the abuse took place in 2005 and 2006 in Fox's home.
Police say they searched Fox's residence and found thousands of images of child pornography on his computer.
In 1984, Fox was convicted in California of lewd or lascivious acts with a child. Authorities say he served time in prison and was paroled, but was later returned to prison for parole violations.
