Authorities have identified the man whose body was found near the railroad tracks in Evergreen, just northeast of Kalispell.
The Flathead County sheriff's office says 20-year-old Dustin Lee Burlingham died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head. A gun was found at the scene.
Sheriff Mike Meehan says Burlingham was last seen on Jan. 21. He had apparently recently moved to the Kalispell area.
Burlingham's body was found by a couple walking along a trail on Monday evening.
