Neighbor Burglar

10:28 a.m. A resident of an apartment complex on Highway 35 in Kalispell reported that while he was sitting in his living room his neighbor came over and attempted to break into his home through the front window.

11:20 a.m. A stray, injured cat was reunited with its owner in Hungry Horse.

11:44 a.m. A dog on Moonlight Trail killed a number of chickens.

11:48 a.m. A dog was barking on Solberg Drive.

12:17 p.m. Three teenaged girls created a traffic hazard as they walked side by side down the middle of Shady Lane. An officer told them to get out of the road.

2:37 p.m. An Olney resident came home to find a loose dog with a chicken in its mouth and most of his chickens dead. He reported that he managed to get the dog with a little bit of buck shot.

2:45 p.m. A loose black Lab on Solberg Drive was seen chasing people up and down the street.

5:14 p.m. A resident on Columbia Falls Stage called in to discuss his issues with a small “ankle biter.”

1:55 a.m. An employee of a Columbia Falls gas station reported that a man in tan shorts came in and stole a case of beer.
