Bravettes Back at State Basketball Tournament
Flathead returns to state tourney for first time since 2008
Emma Andrews scored 12 points, Emily Russell had 11 and the Flathead Bravettes rallied past Missoula Big Sky 50-44 to qualify for the Class AA girls state basketball tournament for the first time since 2008.
Flathead (11-9) will play Eastern AA top-seed Great Falls (17-3) in the opening round in Great Falls at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 7.
Both teams played in the regular-season opener and Great Falls won 56-47.
