8:38 a.m. An Olney woman complained that the neighbor’s dog killed her chicken last night.

8:40 a.m. Someone reported a theft that occurred over a year ago.

8:49 a.m. A Hungry Horse man reported that two nervous-looking, intoxicated men were spinning donuts in his driveway.

10:13 am. A woman on Bigfork Stage reported that the neighbor’s dogs bark all night long. When an animal warden arrived, the woman was standing in front of the neighbor’s house screaming. She was told to go home.

12:50 p.m. A woman called from Whitefish to report that her grandpa assaulted her boyfriend with his cane.

2:33 p.m. Two men in a green Pontiac were caught trying to steal a backhoe bucket on Alder Drive.

3:24 p.m. A man on Ezy Drive reported that his neighbor was sitting in a field with his shotgun attempting to lure his cats to their death.

5:35 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman reported that her intoxicated husband was attempting to drive his Ford Probe to a local bar.

7:36 p.m. Teenage boys were seen kicking over garbage cans on Reserve Drive.

8:33 p.m. A man on Conrad Lane said that his wife beat him up and destroyed his house.

8:53 p.m. A Bigfork woman saw a suspicious light in the woods. A deputy was unable to confirm the sighting.

10:29 p.m. A Bigfork man called 911 to discuss the unwanted feral cat that recently moved in.

I am a proponent of dogs and an opponent of cats. I reckon that gentleman should get a citation for ridding our great community of feral felines. Bravo to the man sitting in the field, BRAVO!
