6:33 a.m. On Riverside Drive, a tree fell on top of some important wires and blew an electrical transformer.
6:57 a.m. A husband and wife duo argued loudly in Bigfork. The male party was gone when authorities arrived.
7:43 a.m. Three horses ran amok on Middle Trap Road. One was brown, another white with dark spots and the other dark-colored.
8:16 a.m. Someone decided to drive on the lawn at a local private school. This detracted from the lawn’s aesthetic appearance.
9:28 a.m. Tools were stolen from a construction trailer on Batavia Lane.
9:44 a.m. Prescription medications were stolen from a residence on East Oregon Street.
10:07 a.m. Reports of “harassing phone calls” received by a local business turned out to be from some very determined debt collectors.
11:01 a.m. A resident of Whitetail Meadows Road was bitten by a dog. He then called to report the incident, which will be subject to further investigation.
12:09 a.m. Seven or eight cats were seen peeking from the windows of an abandoned home in Somers. The creatures will be taken into appropriate care.
12:25 p.m. Someone who was assaulted on Saturday night called to provide the name of his assailant.
12:26 p.m. A two-year-old boy went missing after playing outside on Middle Road. He was soon located nearby.
12:45 p.m. On Highway 2, someone spotted a big brown llama eluding captivity. The creature was gone when authorities arrived.
4:13 p.m. An individual seen near Hungry Horse Reservoir may have had mental health issues. Forest Service officials were notified.
4:24 p.m. Several horses and mules looked particularly thin on Highway 2. They were in actuality normal-sized.
4:30 p.m. Someone attempted to forge a check at a local drugstore.
5:15 p.m. A young child captured a bat at an education center on North Fork Road. The family was advised to bring the bat in for disease testing.
5:17 p.m. A dog on South Cedar Drive got out of its fence, inspiring a neighbor to shoot it with a pellet gun.
6:54 p.m. At a local grocery store, someone recognized a dog in an unfamiliar car as their own. The dog was returned and all was well.
7:08 p.m. Numerous bicyclists occupied both lanes of the North Fork Road. This behavior perturbed passing motorists.
7:49 p.m. Someone stole a generator from a truck on Parliament Drive.
9:15 p.m. Loud gun shots resounded on Foys Canyon Road. While this irritated certain neighbors, it was by no means illegal.
9:32 p.m. Smoke on State Park Drive in Whitefish turned out to be from a recreational campfire. The campers were advised to burn only clean wood.
10:15 p.m. A young male on a motorized scooter drove on and off a trail near Highway 83.
10:19 p.m. A resident of Gayle Way claims that a neighbor shot their dog with a pellet gun. Upon investigation, the report proved unfounded.
10:32 p.m. Someone managed to get their truck stuck on the boat ramp at Emery Bay on the Hungry Horse Reservoir. When confronted by the campground host, the driver became disorderly and hostile.
11:23 p.m. A man ran down someone’s driveway on 12th Avenue West.
11:49 p.m. Someone who had previously been assaulted thought that their attacker might be driving around the neighborhood.
11:49 p.m. A daughter and her parents argued in Martin City. The issue was resolved and all parties went to bed.
1:46 a.m. After leaving a local casino, a gentleman followed a female patron home and knocked on her door. This frightened the woman, who then called for extra law enforcement patrol.
2:33 a.m. A gentleman hanging around a local eatery claims that he is with the FBI. He is in reality not with the FBI.
