Carroll Shuts Out Rocky 42-0

HELENA, Mont. (AP) – John Barnett passed for 224 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 91 yards and another score Saturday in Carroll’s 42-0 shutout of Rocky Mountain College.

No. 2 Carroll (7-0, 6-0 Frontier) posted its 16th consecutive victory over Rocky Mountain (2-5, 1-5), its third consecutive shutout and continued its streak this season of not allowing a touchdown.

Carroll opened the game with a 76-yard drive, capped by a 10-yard TD run by Barnett just five minutes into the game.

Sean Herrin scored on a 1-yard run with 5:47 left in the first quarter on a drive that included a 65-yard run by Barnett.

Dan Lovin caught a 20-yard TD pass and Gabe Le, who rushed for 73 yards, scored on a 5-yard run to give Carroll a 28-0 halftime lead.

Brandon Day returned an interception for a touchdown in the third quarter and John Camino had a 19-yard TD run in the fourth.

Sophomore Casey Gregerson passed for 90 yards and rushed for another 38 yards for the Bears, who were outgained 487-191 in total offense.
