Cat Ski with Olympic Gold Medalist Tommy Moe

A day of cat skiing with Olympic gold medal skier Tommy Moe will be auctioned off at a fundraiser for the Alpine Racing Program at Whitefish Mountain Resort.
The Showcase of the Chefs event is Friday, Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake. It’s the main fundraiser every year for the Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation, which supports the local racing team. Along with a six-course dinner presented by some of the valley’s finest restaurants, the event will feature an exciting auction. Whitefish’s Tommy Moe has teamed up with Great Northern Powder Guides for a day of skiing with the highest bidder and a group of his or her friends.
In the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, Moe won a gold medal in the downhill and a silver medal in the Super G, becoming the first American ski racer to win to medals in the same Olympics.
