Seven Cattle Dead

Three southbound vehicles struck a herd of cattle attempting to cross the intersection of US Highway 93 and Rocky Cliff Drive at about 7:30 a.m. Friday morning, according to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Department.
Undersheriff Pete Wingert said there were no serious injuries to the drivers, or occupants of the vehicles. Seven cows, however, were pronounced dead at the scene.
