Montana Wildfire Advances; Homeowners Alerted for Possible Evacuations
Dunn Fire
ROUNDUP – Crews battled throughout the night into Sunday, struggling to contain a sprawling central Montana wildfire that threatens ranch homes, small subdivisions and vacation cabins in the Bull Mountains north of Billings.

Fire information officer Jennifer Costich (KAH'-stitch) says the 126-square-mile Dunn fire was active all night long, and crews were out all night.

She says the Musselshell County sheriff's office has warned people living along Fattig Creek Road to be prepared for possible evacuation.

Costich says, during the night, fire crews were doing burnout operations around some homes, and no structures were lost.

The fire destroyed a bridge on Thursday and killed at least one cow.
