Class B/C Extends Win Streak at All-Star Wrestling Tournament
Marked the fourth year in a row that wrestlers from Class B/C have won the most titles at the event.
Class B/C showcased the depth of its wrestling talent by winning a tournament-high six titles at the Fifth Annual Tournament of Champions sponsored by the Great Falls personal injury law firm of Hoyt and Blewett PLLC.

Class A followed with five titles while Class AA took home four. This marked the fourth year in a row that wrestlers from Class B/C have won the most titles at the event.

The one-day, single elimination all-star wrestling tournament features the top high school wrestlers in the state from classes AA, A and B/C.

In order to qualify for the tournament, wrestlers must be top place-winners at the All-Class Wrestling Tournament in Billings. The field of 62 wrestlers featured 27 state champions including 9 repeat champions.

Three-time state champions Grant Boggs of Helena and Bryce Weatherston of Belgrade both won titles as did two-time state champions Tucker Yates of Colstrip and Brandon Weber of Forsyth.

The law firm of Hoyt and Blewett sponsors the event, including providing free lodging for coaches and wrestlers and compensation for gas mileage.

"The champs put on a real spectacle for the crowd. The wrestling just keeps getting better and better," said tournament sponsor and Great Falls attorney Zander Blewett. "We tip our hats to every wrestler who showed up because they not only put their state titles on the line, they left their hearts on the mat."
