Columbia Falls’ DeWit Powering Lady Diggers
Former standout Wildkat leading team in rebounds
Former Columbia Falls standout Kelsey DeWit scored 20 points on Jan. 19 in Montana Tech’s 69-64 win over Great Falls.
The 6-foot-2 junior is making the most of her time in Butte. DeWit has started all 19 games for the Lady Diggers this season and leads the team in rebounds (7.8 average per game). She’s also leading the Frontier Conference in blocks with an average of two per game. Tech (11-8 overall, 4-3 in conference) is third in the standings.
DeWit scored a season-high 24 points against the College of Idaho on Nov. 3. She had five blocks last week against Montana State-Northern.
