Columbia Falls Man Dies in Crash
Montana Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 8:17 a.m. Sunday
COLUMBIA FALLS – A car drifted off a road south of Columbia Falls and hit three trees in a residential yard, killing the 50-year-old Columbia Falls man.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 8:17 a.m. Sunday.

The patrol says the man was eastbound on Blackmer Lane when the car drifted sideways off the road, hit a private fence, continued through a yard and hit three trees.

The man was partially ejected through the front passenger side window and died at the scene. The man's name hasn't been released and the crash remains under investigation.
