The Columbia Falls Swim Team traveled to Plains over the June 22-23 weekend to open their season, hoping to put on a good performance in head coach Mike Nelson's debut meet.

Nelson wasn't disappointed, despite rival Bitterroot having a 5 to 1 advantage in swimmers entered. Columbia Falls finished second, behind Hamilton's powerhouse team.

Lexie Bartkoski finishes up the home lap in the 50 meter freestyle.
