Community Leaders Organize Graffiti Cleanup
Graffiti cleanup event scheduled for Saturday morning followed by barbecue for volunteers
In response to a rash of citywide graffiti, Kalispell City Councilor Phil Guiffrida III has organized a community cleanup event for Saturday, July 14.

The graffiti cleanup will organize at 9 a.m. at Penco Power Products, 2310 U.S. 93 S. A barbecue for volunteers is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Guiffrida proposed a community-wide graffiti cleanup after seeing a growing number of tags defacing sites across town. He rallied support among the city council, Flathead County commissioners and local businesses to combat the problem and spread awareness.

WS2 - It is my understanding that members from both the City Council and the County Commissioners are involved and that Mr. Guiffrida has inventoried the graffiti and Chief Nasset is tracking it. There is also a game plan for Saturday. I emailed Guiffrida at the City…
