Community Thanksgiving Dinners Available Thursday
Alone on the holiday or don’t want to prepare a big dinner? Check out these options
Thanksgiving is a time to be with friends and family. But if you’re alone on the holiday or just don’t want to deal with all those friends and family in the kitchen, there are some free community dinners to attend with turkey and all the trimmings.

In what has become a Kalispell tradition, Sykes will host its annual free Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday. Dinner can also be delivered to those who are unable to make it, so long as they call the store before Wednesday at 4 p.m. Folks can also call ahead and order a dinner for pick up. For more information call (406) 257-4306. Sykes is located at 202 Second Ave. W. in Kalispell.

In Bigfork, the Pocketstone Cafe will have dinner for most of the day, with seatings at 11 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Reservations are suggested, but everything will be done to accommodate walk-ins. All of the food is being prepared by volunteers and will be donated by the cafe. For more information call (406) 837-7223. The Pocketstone Cafe is located at 444 Electric Ave. in Bigfork.

The Ronan Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its tenth annual Thanksgiving Day dinner at the Ronan Community Center. The meal starts at 11 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m. and includes all of the trimmings. For more information about helping out call (406) 676-3300. The Ronan Community Center is located at 300 Third Ave. NW.

In Lincoln County, the Libby United Methodist Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church are hosting a free dinner at the VFW in Libby. The event goes from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. For more information called (406) 293-4522 or (406) 293-7866. The VFW is located at 114 West Second St. in Libby. As with all of the dinners, donations are welcome.
