Coram Man Killed in ATV Crash
KALISPELL (AP) – A Coram man is dead after crashing a friend's all-terrain vehicle on a gravel road north of Columbia Falls, authorities said.
The victim was Jeffery T. Musuta, 43, Flathead County Deputy Coroner Ernie Freebury said.
The wreck happened at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Musuta rolled the four-wheeler while attempting to turn at the intersection of Lake and Bailey drives.
A passer-by discovered him pinned under the ATV and called authorities, the Montana Highway Patrol said.
Freebury said Musuta died at the scene of head and neck trauma. An investigation is under way.
It was Montana's 215th highway death this year, compared with 207 on the same date in 2006.
