Flathead County: County Parks Master Plan Draft Up For Comment

The Flathead County Parks Board has completed its revisions to the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, and forwarded that plan to the Flathead County Planning Board for review. Its the first time ever that the department is undertaking a long-term master plan.

The public can still review the Master Plan and submit written comments to the planning board, or give comment at the planning board's public hearing, which has yet to be scheduled. The draft chapters and all maps are available at the county's Web site: http://flathead.mt.gov/parks_rec/index.php
