Criminal Charges Filed Against Two Glacier Freshmen
Students Headed to Youth Court
Kalispell police charged one Glacier High School freshman with sexual assault and another with accountability to sexual assault following an incident on a bus ride home from a football game in Missoula earlier this month.

The alleged assault occurred on Sept. 12. And following an investigation by Glacier High School administrators, six students were kicked off the team and suspended from school. Police then conducted an independent criminal investigation and its findings, released Wednesday, identify eight possible victims in the case.

Investigators interviewed all the victims and their families, witnesses and suspects. Two of the six suspects met the necessary elements of criminal activity, according to a Kalispell Police Department press release.

Both juveniles are being charged in Flathead County Youth Court.

According to a police report filed on Sept. 13, the grandmother of a female passenger who witnessed the incident told authorities “ninth grade boys held down some of the smaller boys and molested them.”

One of the freshman team’s coaches resigned following the alleged assault.
