Harassing Text Messages
Flathead County Sheriff's and Kalispell Police Reports
Thursday 1/3/2013

7:37 a.m. A man in a "fuzzy" hat was accused of driving drunk down Highway 35 in Kalispell.

9:27 a.m. A secretary in an Evergreen business claimed that the door to the safe had been pried open.

9:40 a.m. An Evergreen man lost his tools.

9:56 a.m. Two men who had just been released from the county jail were reportedly in the Martin City area drinking beer and destroying property. They later agreed to pay for a door they damaged.

10:50 a.m. A woman on Meridian Road reported that someone in a silver Honda was driving too fast and nearly ran her over.

1:24 p.m. Someone on Autumn Lane complained of receiving harassing text messages. The culprit explained that he sent the messages, but it wasn’t his idea and he was intoxicated at the time.

2:45 p.m. A Splendid View Drive resident reported that his cantankerous neighbor threatened him with a declaration of “war” and warned that he would “fire back” if he shot his rifle off one more time. The resident, who was shooting in a safe manner, declined his neighbor’s proposition and agreed to put his gun away for the afternoon.

4:01 p.m. The owner of a dog that was chasing a UPS truck reportedly told the driver that he would first sue him then murder him if he were to run over his dog.

1:00 a.m. An employee at an Evergreen casino reported that two patrons were weird and made her feel uneasy.

2:31 a.m. A Columbia Falls man reported that he ran into an owl and, at the time of the call, it was still alive and stuck in the grill of his truck. He wanted it documented that he did not intentionally try to kill the bird.

@djtabish You may have $10, but I have the fleeting hope that I'll be a millionaire without having to do any work for it. #lazy
