Dangerous Ice

8:56 a.m. A Somers man who had been watching a man walking on the bay reported that he thought that the man had ventured out too far onto the ice. He said that he would continue to monitor the situation with his high-powered binoculars and call back if anything happens.

9:04 a.m. Someone in Whitefish reported that a bicycle has been on the ground near his trailer park for two months.

10:00 a.m. Dogs on Farm to Market barked consistently for approximately five hours.

12:01 p.m. A playground in Lakeside was defaced with spray paint.

1:12 p.m. A man on Bright Star Trail near Whitefish realized his dogs were on the loose when he heard gunshots from a neighbor’s horse pasture. He was advised to keep his dogs under control.

2:43 p.m. An employee at a Kalispell store reported that a man carrying a cane filled his bags up with merchandise, ditched his cane and took off. Stolen items include two circular saw blades.

3:31 p.m. Reportedly, someone was driving down Highway 93 North with really bald tires.

3:33 p.m. Someone in Coram reported that a 3-year-old was wandering around a store looking for her mom while two younger siblings were outside in a car crying. The child and the vehicle were gone when a deputy arrived.

5:09 p.m. An intoxicated woman was transported by a deputy from a residence in Marion where she was no longer wanted to another residence in Evergreen.

10:05 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that she was the victim of a Craigslist scam.

11:03 p.m. A Coram man needed an ambulance after an armed camouflaged man assaulted him at a local bar.
