Flathead County Sheriff and Kalispell Police Reports

6:49 a.m. A woman called in from Alabama to report that a local woman has her cats and is refusing to have them shipped to her. A deputy helped make arrangements for the cats to be sent to Alabama.

8:58 a.m. A dog on Bowman Drive reportedly bit another dog’s ear off.

9:59 a.m. A man on Nicholson Drive complained that someone’s loose dog is always in his yard. At the time of the call the dog was not in his yard.

11:22 a.m. A Cynthia Drive resident reported that someone broke into his garage and stole property. He is pretty sure he knows who the culprit is.

11:47 a.m. A Hungry Horse woman reported that the mechanics who were working on her vehicle claimed to not know where her vehicle is. During her conversation with a deputy she was advised to take care of outstanding warrants she has accrued with the Sheriff Department, Highway Patrol and the Kalispell Police Department.

12:40 p.m. A couple who was walking down Mennonite Church Road reported that a strange man in a white car watched them and followed them slowly in his vehicle before driving off.

1:16 p.m. A big German shepherd was put indoors after a colorfully worded complaint was made about its incessant barking.

1:18 p.m. A woman in Bigfork reported that a loose dog that looked like “Marmaduke” cornered her on Crestview Terrace and barked at her.

3:14 p.m. A woman on Kelley Road reported that her neighbor threatened to shoot her. The neighbor admitted to asking her if he needed to get his .44, but explained that he intended to use it on her dogs.

4:40 p.m. Reportedly, someone threatened to “wrap their crutches around” an Evergreen resident.

9:14 p.m. According to residents on Second Avenue West, they could both hear and smell gas.

1:04 a.m. A deer was stuck in a fence on Willow Drive. It was gone by the time help arrived.
