Flathead County Sheriff’s and Kalispell Police Reports

Dogs on the Run

By Christie Burns

Monday 2/24/2014

10:24 a.m. A yellow Lab ran away from its home on Soaring Pines Trail last night.

12:24 a.m. An unpleasant looking dog was seen running down Highway 40 near Whitefish.

2:24 p.m. Someone reported that an acquaintance of theirs was out driving her Subaru around town while on morphine. A deputy spoke to the woman and didn’t suspect anything out of the ordinary.

3:29 p.m. Someone called in after watching another driver drunkenly swerve their way into the parking lot of a Columbia Falls bar.

3:30 p.m. A concerned Bigfork woman reported receiving a bill out of California for child care. She claims to have no small children or business with any children in California.

4:24 p.m. Apparently, someone on McMannamy Draw parked their mobile home sideways in the road, blocking traffic. It was parked in a more efficient manner shortly after.

4:49 p.m. Someone driving down Highway 2 East reported that a presumably intoxicated driver of a green Suburban cut him off.

5:25 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that his angry wife, after attempting to attack him, somehow damaged the hood of his truck.

7:31 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman claimed that a fat little dog was running loose and is likely the reason that her garbage cans had all been knocked over.

10:49 p.m. Someone called in worried about an inappropriately dressed man walking down a trail near the river.
