EXPLORE: McGregor Lake
32 miles west of Kalispell, McGregor Lake is worth the trip
With autumn in full swing, a trip down U.S. Highway 2 to McGregor Lake should be on your to-do list. Just 32 miles west of Kalispell, the lake is an awesome place to drop a line or enjoy a picnic.

The fall colors will certainty be out in force in the coming days.

McGregor Lake and the Montana, Fish, Wildlife and Park’s Boisvert’s Fishing Access site is a scenic area on the way to Libby.

The highway runs along the lake and on the left is a fishing access site.

The small, four-acre park is a great spot to take in the sights, even if you don’t fish.

There is also a concrete ramp to launch your boat for a late-season excursion onto the lake.

How to Get There

From Kalispell, take U.S. Highway 2 west for 32 miles. The lake is on your left.
