Everyone knows Glacier National Park is a sanctuary for amazing hikes and once-in-a-lifetime scenic views.
Two hikes, Scenic Point and Running Eagle Falls, in the Two Medicine area of the park are no exception.
Just one mile past the Two Medicine entrance of the park, the trailhead for Running Eagle Falls will be on the right-hand side of the road. It is just a short 0.3-mile hike to the waterfall.
For a more challenging hike, continue driving down the road to Two Medicine Lake. On the left-hand side of the road is a sign for “Scenic Point.” Park here for trailhead access.
The trailhead, named the Mount Henry Trail, is on the left-hand side of the parking lot as you enter.
Once on the trail you can choose to take the spur to Appistoki Falls, which then joins with the Scenic Point Trail at the top of the waterfall. It is 3.1 miles to Scenic Point.
How To Get There
Take U.S. Highway 2 east until you reach MT Highway 49.
Take a left on MT Highway 49 and drive until you reach Two Medicine Road.
Turn left and enter the park.
