As the sun set Wednesday, lights are turned on to aid workers as they lowered the third piece of the new Viking Creek Day Lodge pedestrian skywalk into place over Wisconsin Avenue in Whitefish. The pre-fabricated skywalk connected the existing Whitefish Lake Lodge on the west side of the road to the newly built Viking Creek Day Lodge on the east side. Traffic was routed into one lane and through the lodge’s parking lot during construction.
