1:01 a.m. An abandoned trailer house on Rhodes Draw was consumed by a raging fire.
1:06 a.m. Two male subjects refused to leave a bar in Columbia Falls when asked. The offenders decided to comply when they realized law enforcement was on the way.
2:08 a.m. A 14-year-old girl became frightened when the family dogs looked out the window and began to growl. No intruders were found on the scene.
4:05 a.m. A Hungry Horse home was pelted with paintballs.
4:49 a.m. Highway 2 East was blocked by a fallen tree in Hungry Horse.
7:36 a.m. Someone slashed all four tires of a vehicle in an Evergreen driveway.
8:51 a.m. A home in Columbia Falls was shot with a paintball gun.
9:05 a.m. A vehicle was found wrapped around a tree at the bottom of an embankment near the Hungry Horse Reservoir. No persons were in the area of the crash.
10:09 a.m. A black calf ran amok in Creston.
10:23 a.m. Someone found an abandoned personal watercraft on the river near Wagoner Lane. The craft will be moored at the individual’s dock until it is claimed.
10:41 a.m. A maroon vehicle was found submerged at the Abbott Bay boat launch on the Hungry Horse Reservoir. The owner of the vehicle has yet to be found.
11:39 a.m. Someone claimed to have found an open suitcase full of old clothes on Hubbard Dam Road. The supposed abandoned luggage turned out to be a pile of trash.
11:57 a.m. Someone saw a man padlock the door of a camper after two young girls climbed in. Authorities could not find the vehicle in question.
12:28 p.m. A concerned resident of Martin City called to report that an individual was breaking into an abandoned vehicle. The purported burglar turned out to the vehicle owner, who was tearing it apart to be towed away.
12:32 p.m. A jug containing $100 worth of change was stolen from a Kings Loop home.
12:56 p.m. Several unpaid-for fishing lures almost left an Evergreen outdoor sporting goods store at the hands of a 16-year-old boy.
1:35 p.m. An unattended campfire blazed near Lake Mary Ronan but was quickly extinguished.
2:00 p.m. A mama bear and her two cubs exhibited normal bear behavior near the mailboxes on Lone Pine Road.
2:20 p.m. One kid supposedly threatened another kid with a knife at an RV park on Helena Flats Road. Upon closer inspection, the weapon turned out to be a fingernail file.
2:36 p.m. One of the teachers at a Bigfork School did not enjoy the presence of a bat in the area.
4:04 p.m. A purse was stolen from a car on White Birch Lane.
4:07 p.m. A 30-year-old male subject was thought to be lost in the Spotted Bear area. The hunter was in fact not lost but simply late in coming home.
4:24 p.m. A young male and his aunt engaged in a verbal altercation on East Cottonwood Drive. Evidently, the aunt would not hand over the boy’s video game console.
6:26 p.m. Someone keyed a vehicle on West Reserve Drive.
10:52 p.m. An individual on Whitefish Stage Road was alarmed to see something moving in the nearby willow trees. The mysterious prowler turned out to be a harmless domestic cat.
11:23 p.m. A resident of Somers reports that his intoxicated wife beat him up and then took off on foot. The man declined medical treatment.
11:30 p.m. Someone at an apartment complex on Highway 2 East was splashed in the eyes with acid when an attempt to set off a bug bomb went awry.
