Flathead Health Officials to Provide Guidance on Health Reform, State Exchange

Counselors from the Flathead City-County Health Department are holding informational sessions at the library in Kalispell to help residents with the state’s new health insurance exchange and other changes from the Affordable Care Act.

Residents can drop in at the Flathead County Library at 247 First Ave. E. on Oct. 30, Nov. 4 and Nov. 18, when health counselors will be answering questions and providing one-on-one guidance on health care reform. Library staff can assist the public with basic navigation of HealthCare.gov, but only certified counselors are allowed to provide guidance. The health department now has three certified counselors on staff.
