Flathead High Needs Debate Judges
Weekend debate event short 200 judges
Kalispell’s Flathead High School needs 200 judges for the largest speech tournament in Montana’s history. The school is hosting a National Qualifying Speech and Debate Tournament on Feb. 8 and 9.
As of Sunday afternoon, the school was short nearly 200 judges and was asking for help from the community. They especially need judges for Friday, for competitions at 2, 4, 6 and 8 p.m. People who are interested can register online at www.kalispellspeechdebate.org or contact Wendy Putzler at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or (406) 751-3546. There is also an optional judges clinic on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m. inside the Lecture Room at Flathead High School. Judges are asked to show up 10 to 15 minutes before the competition and check in at the high school library.
