Flathead Valley Home School Dethrones Stillwater for Boys Title
The Crusaders avenged a 29-25 loss to Stillwater in last year’s title game.
For the third consecutive year, Flathead Valley Home School and Stillwater Christian clashed for the Montana Christian Athletic Association boys basketball state title.
This year it ended in the Crusaders’ favor.
Abram French scored a team-high 16 points to lead FVHS to a 56-31 win over defending champ Stillwater Christian.
Joshua Jarvis added 12 points and both Jake VanBuren and Josiah Sheeran scored 10 apiece for the Crusaders (23-4).
Josh Bray scored 16 points for Stillwater (15-9).
The Crusaders avenged a 29-25 loss to Stillwater in last year’s title game. FVHS edged Stillwater 61-58 two years prior. The Crusaders have played in the championship game for five years in a row. FVHS and Stillwater have combined to win seven of the last 11 boys basketball titles in the MCAA.
