Flathead National Forest officials are investigating a string of arson fires that were started earlier this month about 15 miles north of Columbia Falls.
The July 8 fires were started along North Fork Road near the Big Creek Campground. Officials think those blazes are related to another fire on the same day on private land south of Bigfork, near Chapman Hill Road.
Investigators with the U.S. Forest Service are looking for information about a dark blue SUV that is believed to have been in the area when the fires started.
