Free Access to Glacier on Jan. 21
There are multiple opportunities to go to Glacier this year
Glacier National Park and other parks across the country will be waiving fees on Monday, Jan. 21 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Normal fees for a seven-day vehicle pass is $25 in the summer and $15 in the winter.

Monday is the first of a handful of days in which you can get into Glacier for free. April 22 to 26 is National Park Week; August 25 is the National Park Service’s Birthday; Sept. 28 is National Public Lands Day and Nov. 9 to 11 is Veterans Day Weekend.

Be sure to head up to Glacier whenever you can to enjoy the stunning scenery year round.

@NPDXReporter I think I'll start strategically calling it "pre-lunch" too, and then "forget" to eat my real lunch later. #dessertforlunch
