If you’re alone on Thanksgiving or don’t want to prepare a turkey
If you’re alone on Thanksgiving or don’t want to go through the hassle of preparing a turkey with all the trimmings, free dinners will be available across the region on Thursday.

In what has become a Kalispell tradition, Sykes will host its annual free Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday. Dinner can also be delivered to those who are unable to make it, so long as they call the store before Wednesday at 4 p.m. For more information call (406) 257-4306. Sykes is located at 202 Second Ave. W. in Kalispell.

In Bigfork, the Pocketstone Cafe will have dinner for most of the day, with seatings at 11 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Reservations are suggested, but everything will be done to accommodate walk-ins. All of the food is being prepared by volunteers and will be donated by the cafe. For more information call (406) 837-7223. The Pocketstone Cafe is located at 444 Electric Ave. in Bigfork.

The Ronan Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its ninth annual Thanksgiving Day dinner at the Ronan Community Center. The meal starts at 11 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m. and includes all of the trimmings. For more information call (406) 676-8300. The Ronan Community Center is located at 300 Third Ave. Northwest.

I am Thankful for all the great people of the Flathead Valley and beyond, that make donations and volunteer their time to make Thanksgiving a pleasant day for some that are not as fortunate as others.  Thank you.

@NPDXReporter I think I'll start strategically calling it "pre-lunch" too, and then "forget" to eat my real lunch later. #dessertforlunch
