Fulbright Exchange Professor to Discuss Russia’s Progress at FVCC
Presentation on current national issues as the former Soviet Union progresses into the 21st century
Flathead Valley Community College’s Multicultural Affairs Office will welcome Fulbright Exchange Professor Robert Friel to deliver a free community presentation on contemporary issues in Russia on Dec. 11.

Friel has been a scholar and educator in the Russian education system for over 30 years and recently returned to the United States. A Russian/Soviet Studies graduate of Harvard University, he has developed a deep knowledge of Russian history, politics, culture and social transformation.

The lecture will cover a broad spectrum of current national issues as the former Soviet Union progresses into the 21st century.
