FVCC Collects Warm Coats for a Good Cause
Event dedicated to distributing coats to local children and adults in need
As cold winter weather begins arriving, the Recycling Club at Flathead Valley Community College is collecting clean coats and jackets of all sizes for its "One Warm Coat" drive.

The event is part of a national nonprofit organization dedicated to distributing reusable coats, free of charge, to local children and adults. The program is an easy way for local families to pass along coats and jackets they no longer need.

The collection bin is inside the main foyer of Blake Hall on the FVCC campus and will remain through Nov. 30. All donated coats will be given to Feeding the Flathead/Community Kitchen, Samaritan House and other local community organizations that will distribute the coats.

Since One Warm Coat was founded in 1992 more than one million coats have been provided to those in need nationwide at no cost.
