FWP Investigating Recent Deer Poachings
Several deer found killed outside Whitefish
State wildlife officials are investigating recent poaching incidents around Whitefish, according to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks.
Several deer were shot and left to waste in the areas around Whitefish and FWP game wardens are asking for help from the public. Anyone with information is urged to call 1-800-TIPMONT.
The crimes were believed to be committed in the early morning hours starting Sept. 5 and for several days after during the night and early morning hours. They occurred near Lodgepole, Twin Bridges, Farm to Market and Voerman roads and other back roads in those areas.
